Yes, Dwight is still MIA but he’s my first and main character in game still so using his account for this update XD
I've been meaning to do an info post update for some time and with a newbie on the island I figured now was as good a time as any. So let's get into it!
Connor Temple
Connor Temple is from the canon Primeval TV Show. This is a British TV show that started airing in 2007 and ran to about 2011. General summary of the show is a group of scientists who are investigating ruptures in space time that are allowing prehistoric monsters into our world. To combat the anomaly threat, government officials partner with local scientists and private experts with the aim of capturing the creatures, protecting the world at large, protecting the secret truth of the anomalies, and getting the creatures back to their own world safely if possible. The show spans 5 seasons and covers the team's adventures with the anomalies.

Connor Temple is a very nerdy and geeky young man who has been obsessed with dinosaurs, primeval creatures, and cryptids. He looks every inch the nerd he is and is extremely awkward and has little to no social skills. He joins the team to fight the creatures and solve the riddle of the anomalies as a young college student aged around 22-23 years.
He is around 5ft 9in in height and slim and not at all muscular- very geeky in looks. Has dark black hair that is either cut short or at times allowed to grow to about shoulder length. He is fond of fedoras and hats in general, and he also often wears scarfs of various sizes and styles. He has dark eyes and can grow facial hair though he is often clean shaven or has only small growth of the beard and mustache.
Connor also often has on gloves of some kind, usually knit black fingerless gloves. When he's carrying things around, he often uses an oversized messenger bag slung over his shoulder. He has an overall very nerdy appearance and can be clumsy and awkward, especially when interacting with other people or talking about non-nerdy things that interest him.
This conversation when Connor first joins the team to find the anomalies sums up how people see him at first and the vibes he gives off:
James Lester: "Who's that idiot?"
Nick Cutter: "Connor Temple; he may look like a halfwit, but he has a very good brain."
James Lester: "We may stand on the brink of Armageddon, but at least we have an irritating student on our side. How reassuring!"
Connor was one of the first people brought on to be part of the team at the Anomaly Research Center, and the genius of the operation responsible for inventing new Anomaly-combating technology and learning more about the phenomenon. He knew the most of any team member about the creatures that were coming through the anomaly portals- everything from giant millipedes and scorpions to saber tooth creatures, and ancient dinosaurs. When the team needs to know a weakness, strength, or way to deal with one of the creatures, it is often Connor who has the answer and is instrumental in finding a way to deal with the crisis.
Connor had always been a geek for dinos and ancient creatures and had built a database on his own that he has been working on every day since he was 14. The database is made up of every known ancient dino and creature- which was pointed out several times in the show that it was kinda pathetic (he knows he's a geek and not popular with kids or the ladies, but he hates being reminded of that all the time). Connor has also always wanted to be part of a crime-busting gang and at one point had a major crush on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Connor became a Paleontology/Evolutionary Zoology student at the Central Metropolitan University Department of Evolutionary Zoology. He is passionate about science and earth history and evolution, believes in many conspiracy theories, believes in government cover ups, and supports the idea of life on earth being seeded by aliens/asteroids/other forces outside earth. This overall geeky interest and focus carried throughout the series, even as he grew and matured.
Despite his slightly immature and geeky behavior, Connor is actually a highly loyal, very intelligent, extremely resourceful, and fast-thinking person, He has a talent for tech and science and is an excellent genius, who was always able to use his intelligence and quick thinking both to solve puzzles and mysteries. He developed tech and gear that helped the team and he was also often the one who knew information about the various creatures they encountered that saved the team and allowed them to ultimately be successful with each creature encounter.
Connor is usually an optimist, who tried to keep holding out hope no matter how dire the situation was and refused to give up even when everyone else around him had all but done so. He often joked and tried to act cool and relaxed in the face of danger but it was a way to cope with the pressure that he was still getting used to adjusting to the role of leadership within the team. Connor does at times suffer from confidence issues, particularly concerning his insecurities about his usefulness to the team, and the feeling he can't live up to the expectations of Nick Cutter and the rest of the team. This continued throughout the series but became less of an issue, so much so that Cutter actually looked at Conner as being the logical next in line to lead the team.
Following an expedition gone wrong and the ensuing events that lead to Nick Cutter's death, Connor became set on continuing Cutter's legacy. Nick Cutter's dying order was for Connor to continue the work and lead the team, discover the truth of the anomalies, and save the world. He was determined to do so and became deeply focused on finishing Cutter's work with the Anomalies.
Connor is very smart when it comes to tech. He can build gadgets and make things and use tech in ways the average person would never think of or be able to pull off. He's made devices to detect and track the anomalies, weapons to fight off the creatures, and other tech and systems and computer programs. He's not Tony Stark level tech wizard but he's very VERY good for a regular civilian and a college aged kid.

Connor is coming at the end of the series after all the experience he has had with Cutter and the team and all the growth and maturing he had done. He is still very much a geek and a nerd and socially awkward and still loves a good conspiracy theory and is willing to stoop, to an extent, to using his inventions, knowledge, and geekiness to flirt with someone if the situation arises. (it will be awkward and messy no doubt- but the guy has a good heart even after all he has seen and been through and done).
Connor is coming to Fandom Island in search of more strange things to study and uncover about the world. He has a very scientific approach of "poke and study and investigate" in terms of the 'craziness' of the island. The anomalies in Connor's timeline and world are gone, for now, but he's heard of the strange things going on in Fandom and of course his science brain cannot help but poke and prod and study as much as he can. He will come to the island after reading an article in an obscure magazine or something talking about conspiracy theories and cryptids and what not. He of course wants to learn all he can and see if this is related to the anomalies back home or if there is something new going on.

BONUS!!!!
Connor will be coming to the island with his pet 'dragon' named Rex. Rex is a highly active and intelligent Coelurosauravus; a winged lizard-like reptile from the Permian period. Rex came through one of the first anomaly portals the team encountered and they were unable to return him home. He has become sort of a house pet or mascot for the team. Rex will be coming to the island with Connor (if deemed permissible) and will be a fun addition to the game.

So, Dwight has been around the longest and yet still is getting tweaks to his in-game canon and back story (since the writers felt it necessary to deprive us of essentially any information about him other than he has a jerk for a father.) So here is a quick run down for anyone new to Dwight.

Dwight Hendrickson
Age-35 ish
Island: Local Handyman and Cleaner
Lives in apartment above his shop
Dwight is from the TV show Haven- the same Haven that Duke Crocker is from, yes. Anyone unfamiliar with Haven even after having Crocker around, here's a quick summary of where Dwight is coming from:
On the surface, Haven looks like any regular small fishing town in Maine, but it hides a dark secret. As one of the other main characters in the show once says "It's like there are two Havens. There's the Haven you see in front of you and then there is a second hidden mysterious Haven just under the surface." Haven's secret is that many of the residents there are 'cursed' with what have come to be called The Troubles and they come in many forms from weather control to dream manipulation to human/animal transformations. Basically, if you can think of a terrible superpower to have it could easily be a Haven Trouble!
Dwight's trouble is that he is essentially a bullet magnet. Any weapon that uses gunpowder and explosive force, if it goes off within 300 ft of him, that projectile will change course like a heat seeking missile and head right for Dwight. He wears a bullet proof vest almost every moment for this reason and hunts with a crossbow since guns are out of the question for him.

Dwight has had a bit of a troubled (no pun intended) past. His Trouble showed up while he was serving in Afghanistan and it nearly killed him. His wife left him shortly after and he raised his daughter, Lizzie, as a single dad. Lizzie died around the age of 9 or 10 when her Trouble activated and she got caught in a cross fire.
Dwight is a good man. Stern but fair and honest and hard working. He won’t take much nonsense from people, but he will always be there when you need him once you prove yourself trustworthy and get past that shell he has built up around himself. He tries so hard to protect everyone and takes it really hard and often will blame himself when he can't. This can cause some people to think he is being standoffish and snubbing them but he often goes out of his way to show that he is willing to help when he can- but he is done letting himself be a doormat to others. He is done being taken advantage of and then dropped like last week's garbage.

Other random things people should know about Dwight:
• He suffers from PTSD and anxiety though he usually keeps it under control and hidden from others
• He is an excellent hunter and tracker, doesn't get lost easily, and loves being out in nature
• His nickname is Sasquatch -though only his close friends can usually get away with using it
• He is grey-ace/demiromantic bisexual and may at some point find someone but that is not a primary goal or focus
• He is a good guy and tries to do his best, but he can be very hard on himself when he feels he has failed and let someone down
• He is slow to trust and open up but once he lets you in and considers you a friend you have a loyal friend for life
• He may seem a little stand offish, that's just how he copes and is trying to deal with things going on.

Recent Canon Catchup
Dwight, is having some in-game canon catchup time while he is off-island and we are digging into his backstory some and his relationship with his father. That can be read here for anyone interested- it will explain a lot about any changes seen in Dwight when he finally gets back to the Island.
Kurt Wagner is a sometime-in-the-future member of the X-Men and goes by the codename Nightcrawler. Since he was born with the x-gene that triggered his unique mutations and powers at birth he is considered a mutant.

In a nutshell, he possesses superhuman agility, the ability to teleport, and the ability to climb walls and surfaces easily. His physical mutations manifest in a dark indigo-colored velvety fur over his entire body, two-toed feet, and three-fingered hands, piercing nocturnal yellow eyes, pointed ears, and a prehensile tail. Kurt has an enhanced spatial awareness that helps him navigate while teleporting and makes it easier for him to avoid reappearing within solid constructs as long as he knows where he's going. He is also extremely flexible and has near-perfect balance and body control.
Kurt is a party going and fun-loving kid who likes to make friends, tells jokes, play practical jokes, and loves going on adventures. He has learned to be a bit of a loner and would stay that way by choice, but when he is forced to be in group settings, like in a school setting, he resorts to being the fun-man and practical joker to try and cope and get the focus off his looks and make himself appear more 'normal' and relatable.

He will be coming to the island for school as a teenager in high school as he is portrayed in the animated series X-Men Evolution. He will be coming to Fandom High fairly early in his Evolution canon, somewhere around the end of season one, early season two. Professor X decided Kurt needed some more time to get accustomed to his powers and to better learn how to live as a mutant in the human world, without always hiding his powers and pretending to be a normal human. Kurt is coming to Fandom to try and get another chance at things at a different school and with different people.

One of the big issues is that Kurt tended to rely on his image-inducer watch to hide his mutant looks and to appear normal, using it almost constantly when outside or around people. He is being sent to Fandom High by his old headmaster, Professor X, who would like him to learn to embrace his mutation and see it as a source of pride rather than shame and to use his abilities and powers to help others rather than to try and hide it all from others. He hopes that attending FH with other students, humans and non ‘normal’ humans alike, will help young Kurt.
The Professor wants to let Kurt have a certain degree of freedom to see how he does on his own, while still keeping a watchful eye on him. So, Kurt will be checking in with the Professor on a regular basis via email, letters, or something similar. He may also be asked/requested to talk to teachers or others about things at times to try and work through stuff and work out who he is and what he is supposed to do with his powers and abilities.

Because one of the biggest issues Kurt faced at the old school was his reliance on the inhibitor, he will be going to Fandom without it and will have to face his mutation and learn to live in the real world rather than hiding in a false fantasy one. So yes, there will be a 'fuzzy blue elf' walking (or teleporting) around the school and the island now- have fun! Oh and yes, he can teleport other people with him at times too XD

And now for my final boy….
Name: Billy Coen
Canon: Resident Evil 0
Birthday: April 15th, 1972 (time jumps and Fandom Island time shenanigans in full effect for his island age LOL)
Age on the Island: 30
Living Arrangements- MHA Apartment #3

Resident Evil as a franchise spans many games and movies shows and books. But Billy only appears in the first game -Resident Evil Zero- so the happenings of all the other games are unknown to him beyond a lot of zombie stuff happening and it all ties back to Umbrella. The game focuses on him and his unlikely partner of Rebecca Chambers surviving the world's first encounter with the zombie virus.
In mid-1997, Billy was a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps with Force Recon, who, along with a team of Marines, were sent into hostile territory in Africa to attack a village suspected of being used as a guerilla training ground. Unfortunately, the air drop was off-target, and as such the team had to march across miles of hostile terrain to their target objective. The heat, combined with enemy attacks, soon reduced the team to four, and when they finally arrived, they found the village was actually full of innocent civilians.
Billy's commanding officer ordered the execution of the innocent villagers and framed Billy for it. Upon returning to base, Billy was court-martialed. Under Clause 1; Article 118 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Billy was found guilty of 23 counts of first-degree murder. Under military jurisdiction, Billy was eligible for capital punishment and sentenced to death.

Billy is very strong and well built with muscles. He spent years as a Marine and is used to hard training and hard work. He is disciplined and takes duties seriously and will see anything he starts through to the end. Billy works out- a lot- and is of course skilled with guns and hand to hand combat and all the training and survival skills that come with Marine training and behind enemy line work in the military.
Billy is tall at probably around 6'4'' or so. Well muscled and very strong. He had a large stylized tribal looking tattoo that runs from his shoulder to his wrist that says "Mother Love." He normally wears tank tops or goes shirtless but when he first arrived on the island he wore a long sleeve shirt to cover the tattoo out of fear of getting recognized. He has gotten more used to the island and feels safer so hes not as cautious about covering up the tattoo now.
Billy has short black hair that is kind of wild and unruly. When he thinks about it and can be bothered it is usually slicked back. He will often run his hands through his hair to push it out of his eyes. Billy has dark brown eyes and is usually clean shaven with little to no facial hair.
After the events of the game- lots of zombies and monsters and near death experiences- he goes into hiding in Mexico where he's been for the last 5 or so years. He comes to Fandom through some handwavey situation- he gets caught in a bad storm while out on his boat off the coast of Mexico. His little houseboat he's been living on starts to sink and he wakes up floating off the island, thinking he's still in Mexico. He had slowly gotten used to the quirks of the island- somewhat- LOL. He also has a bit of an interesting friendship/partnership going on with the island fear avatar Jon XD.

Seriously? You are still reading? Ok….
• I’m Kenneth- also can call me Ken or Kenny
• I'm one of the old fogies- as in my RP firsts were on AOL chat rooms and MSN messenger
• I live in Florida with my beautiful wife and our autistic son
• I have been doing fan fiction, fan art, fan vids, and RPs off and on for like nearly 25 years
• I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and identify as transmasculine and pan/bi
• I love music, movies, books, reading, writing, photography, and nature
• I am open to chatting so hit me up anytime and we can talk on discord or email or wherever
So there, that’s the run down. All questions, comments, and even snide remarks are welcome XD
